You are looking at Bluemountain kelong, a retreat and resort for
friends and guests and headquarters for the Teaching Ministry. It is
built on the sea but is connected to the island of Cemera by a 200m
jetty, expanding our activities to jungle trekking, climbing coconut
trees and other land based sports.

There are
six large bedrooms. Each room has a balcony with a scenic view of the
island and sea. A dining room large enough to accommodate 40 adults also
serves as a hall for meetings and fellowship. The bbq deck and the kelong
platform are also favourite places for fellowshipping and stargazing and
in good weather, a lovely place to spend the night.

If you like waking up
long after sunrise, you will probably change your habit when you are
there and will rise with the sun at 6am (optional). Young
adults (right) enjoying the beauty and glory of the sunrise
over the South China Sea pose for a photo to remember that morning when
rising early was unusually pleasant.

Yes, there is
electricity! Powered by two diesel generators and two wind powered
generators (right photo), we provide 220 vac for the convenience of our
guests. Yes again, we have fresh mountain water (unlimited) that is
piped to every room and wherever needed. We are also connected to
the world (in case one becomes homesick) by mobile phones.
A three and half hour
journey by ferry, van and boat will take you to Bluemountain kelong.
A very short distance away but a world apart where the air is
immaculately pure and the ambiance serene.

Guests are served
three full meals a day. Our standard fare includes live, fresh seafood
such as crabs, gong gong, fish and scallops (seasonal). Garupas, Snapper
and Soon Hock are standard.

Activities include
fishing, swimming (off kelong or beach), sun bathing, trekking and island
visits (kampongs). Our guests usually plan private, group activities such
as games, worship and sharing.
